Well Log #7 – Shepherd’s Pie (3/12/26)

Chris and I arrived in Kittery for practice around 3:30 and made our presence known on the bullhorn as we entered the garage: “Hello Jen Thayer, hello, hello!” That got a laugh.

We put tonight’s dinner in the oven to heat up while we waited—Shepherd’s Pie courtesy of Sarah.

Mild friction tonight—mostly Jen being a little bossy :)—but we worked it out.

Lindsey arrived, still a little under the weather but she persevered and sounded great.

Joe was the last to arrive.

We made it through Here a Little—seven songs—before breaking for dinner.

The tension in the garage was a little noticeable, with both of us pushing our ideas. Eventually she went along with my approach—and the air cleared. For the record, it’s a small victory… but I sense the bossiness battle is far from over.
